Second-year PhD candidate in NLP at Utrecht University researching generalizability and explainability in LLMs, with a focus on reasoning, benchmarks, and explanations. Supervised by Lasha Abzianidze, Tejaswini Deoskar, and Yoad Winter.
I hold a BA in literature and linguistics from the University of Bucharest and an MA in linguistics from Utrecht University (Bright Minds Fellow). Some of my other (or former) research interests span across linguistics and A.I., from multimodal LLMs, humor and comedy roasts, weak definites, to critical literary theory — with many more directions to come.
I value transdisciplinarity, creativity, and anything at the intersection of linguistics and AI. Trained in poetry and theatre before academia, I now channel that creativity into creative side-quests and leadership initiatives.
