Second-year PhD candidate in NLP at Utrecht University. Topics: generalizability and explainability in LLMs, with a focus on reasoning, benchmarks, and explanations. Supervisors: Lasha Abzianidze, Tejaswini Deoskar, and Yoad Winter.
Graduated from University of Bucharest with a BA in literature and linguistics, and from Utrecht University with a research MA in linguistics, where I was a Bright Minds Fellow. My research interests have spanned (so far) from multimodal LLMs to humor and comedy roasts, among others.
Outside of my academic work, I take interest in creative multimedia, leadership, & alternative/slow tech projects or tech policies.
